As organizations grow, the technology that once supported them can quickly become a limitation. The PRR Group is proud to announce our partnership with Drug Free America Foundation (DFAF) to develop a purpose-built Learning Management System (LMS) designed specifically for the organization's expanding education, professional training, and prevention initiatives.

Led by Amy Ronshausen, Executive Director of Drug Free America Foundation, the organization has become a nationally recognized leader in substance use prevention, education, and advocacy. Through evidence-based training, professional development, and community outreach, DFAF equips educators, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, prevention specialists, and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to address substance use and promote healthier futures.

Moving Beyond the Limitations of Off-the-Shelf Software

Like many growing organizations, Drug Free America Foundation had been relying on a third-party Learning Management System that required ongoing licensing fees while offering limited flexibility.

As the organization's training programs continued to expand, it became clear that a traditional off-the-shelf platform could no longer support the level of customization and scalability needed to deliver their growing portfolio of educational content.

Rather than continuing to adapt their programs to fit the limitations of commercial software, DFAF made the decision to invest in a platform they could truly own—one designed specifically around their mission, their curriculum, and their long-term vision.

Building a Platform Designed Around the Mission

Working alongside Drug Free America Foundation, The PRR Group is developing a modern Learning Management System that gives the organization complete ownership of its technology while providing the flexibility to continually evolve alongside its educational programs.

The new platform is designed to help DFAF:

  • Deliver and manage its growing catalog of professional training and educational programs.
  • Customize learning experiences around its unique curriculum and instructional model.
  • Eliminate dependence on rigid third-party licensing platforms.
  • Scale new courses, certifications, and educational offerings as demand continues to grow.
  • Maintain complete ownership of the platform, roadmap, and future enhancements.

Rather than forcing their programs to fit within the constraints of a generic LMS, the technology is being purpose-built around the way Drug Free America Foundation operates today—and where it is headed in the future.

A Partnership Built on Years of Collaboration

This engagement represents far more than a technology project—it reflects a relationship that has been built over several years.

For more than three years, PRR Group Co-Founder, Boomer Rose has worked closely alongside Amy and the Drug Free America Foundation team, collaborating on initiatives, speaking at conferences, and supporting the organization's mission to advance prevention education and community awareness.

Through that collaboration, a strong relationship was built around a shared commitment to creating meaningful impact through technology and education. As DFAF began evaluating how to modernize its learning platform, partnering with The PRR Group was a natural next step.

Rather than simply replacing an existing system, both organizations saw an opportunity to create technology that would better support DFAF's long-term vision and provide a scalable foundation for future growth.

Looking Beyond the Learning Management System

While the Learning Management System marks the beginning of this partnership, it is only the first step.

The PRR Group and Drug Free America Foundation are already exploring additional opportunities to modernize operations, expand digital capabilities, and develop technology solutions that further advance the organization's mission.

Together, the organizations are building more than a learning platform—they are creating a technology foundation that will help Drug Free America Foundation continue expanding its educational reach, strengthening its programs, and empowering more professionals and communities across the country.

We are honored to partner with the entire Drug Free America Foundation team as they continue their important work to prevent substance use through education, advocacy, and innovation. By combining DFAF's decades of leadership with purpose-built technology, this partnership will help ensure their educational programs continue to grow, evolve, and create lasting impact for years to come.
